Let me introduce myself, and give a brief summary of where I am coming from and why I have written the articles found on this website. The scripture on our home page (and on this page), Isaiah 9:2, talks about people who were dwelling in darkness and death, but now the Great Light of Jesus Christ has shined upon them. I am one of those people. 

My name is Randy Reaux. I was born a third generation rice farmer in southwest Louisiana, where I farmed with my father and brothers until the early 1980's. At the age of 26, I was sitting in the darkness of sin, sickness and dead religion. After experiencing chest pains and heart problems for a few years, I began to seek after God more seriously than I ever had before. I sought Him through my religion, but found no help in what I was really needing. As well as wanting to be healed, I wanted to be right and clean before God, and to be set free from the sins that had a grip on me.

The years of confession and penances never gave me the power to do this. The eucharist, which I was told was the presence of Christ, never gave me faith or confidence that He was really with me and living in me, every day, to take care of me and protect me from all evil. And with all the rosaries and prayers to Mary, I never once heard God's voice give me instruction or answers to questions that I had about my life.

Things did not begin to change for me until the day when I totally surrendered my life to Jesus Christ and committed to live for and serve Him, in whatever way He would show me how. That is what the Bible calls repentance; not merely making confession and doing penances, then going right back to life as usual. It was not long afterward that my physical health improved. God soon sent someone to me to lead me in the infilling of the Holy Spirit, along with a new prayer language of tongues to communicate with God. It was then that I began to hear His voice, and His instructions and Grace on how to live righteously and godly in this present world.

It was then that the Spirit also began to reveal to me that what the Catholic Church (my religion) had offered me for all those years was only a Counterfeit salvation, through the sacraments; and not the real, life-changing experience of Salvation that Jesus came to give. Knowing and continuing in the truth sets us free.

So, because I have been commanded to let this light (the truth that has been revealed to me) shine out of darkness, I am putting it in print and out on the web for others (who may be sitting in the same darkness) to see. I pray that you read through the writings with an humble attitude, and search out the scriptures for yourself to see if these things be so.
